Foreign License Conversion

Conversion flying is done to convert your foreign ICAO license to DGCA license.
The flying hours required will vary depending upon your recency.

ELIGIBILITY/BASIC REQUIREMENT

Minimum age: 18
-
Educational Qualification: passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics

Medical Fitness: Class 1 Medical Indian/Foreign
-
Valid RTR(A)/RTR(C)/RTR(P)
-
Valid FRTOL
-
Personal Flying Logbook original duly completed

EGCA log book entries approved

CONVERSION SKILL TESTS REQUIRED

General flying test by day
-
General flying test by night
-
A cross-country flight test by day 250nm
-
A cross-country flying test by nigh 120nm

Instrument Rating test

FLIGHT TIME REQUIREMENTS FOR DGCA LICENSE ISSUANCE:
1. 200 Hours Total Flight Time
2. At least 100 hours P.I.C Time
3. At least 50 hours X-Country Time
4. One 300 nm X-Country
5. 40 hours Instrument Flying (At least 20 Hours on actual airplane)
6. 05 Hours Night P.I.C with 10 T/O and Landings
